Tail pipe tip for enhanced exhaust CTD

I have heard lots of talk about after market exhausts for newer CTD trucks. I had complete new system with chrome 5" tip that stuck straight out behind right rear wheel. I replaced it today with new 4" chrome tip that points slightly down and back. The sound is the same from outside the truck but the sound level inside the truck is quite different. So for you guys that are ready for upgrade keep this in mind.

how is the sound different? Better? Worse? Deeper? I'm gettin' close to doing this type of thing myself... thanks

I think it mellowed out the sound in the cab and it is not as loud. I think it throws the sound more toward the back behind the truck.
