If you live in an area that gets quite a bit of rain, keep an eye on your tailgate cables.
The right one on my rig rusted inside the plastic covering and busted in-two. Before I could go by and get another, I dropped my tailgate, and the other one broke. Luckily, it hit the aftermarket bumper I have with the plastic part of the lower tailgate. If I would have had my hitch in, I would have a nice crease in my tailgate...
