sky,,i lay it flat on a table and rub over the top sheet of film on the letters with my finger. it seems to help it stick to the top sheet better when you peel off the back. i also use 3 or 4 pieces of masking tape accross the top edge only and then flip it up(hindge like) and start peeling the back off from the top left corner. you see the pic of mine,,it was my 2nd attempt also. take your tailgate off and lay it flat (really helps). not so sure about the water mist,,they are not decals. i believe the main problem is keeping the graphic stuck to the top sheet of film while peeling the back off.

I got mine today. This is my second attempt putting on. Well everything went great I got it on and no letters tore I was very carefull etc... ... Now I face another problem, I have small air bubbles all over the place. I rubbed and rubbed and squedged (SP?) and they are not going away??? Anyone help?

Depending on how many "small bubbles" you have you may want to take a small needle and poke a small "unoticeable" hole in each bubble so the air can escape. I've done this before and it worked great. It's a pain if you have a lot of them but for a couple it works good.
