Tailgate removal 2022

I know how to do my 1999 did it many times but how do I unplug the rear camera duh

Getting old slide in put in new truck on Thursday. Need the tailgate off thanks

Don't know for sure on a 22 but on my 18 there is a cable between the bed and tailgate that you Pull out and disconnect. The truck should have came with connector covers for both connectors.

Got it off the way it plugs together is a mess but it was pretty cold out there. They could have made it better

+1 PIA getting that plug off and on. Gotta be patient...which I am not.

At least you can lay it up in th back of the truck when your doing it That’s a plus. Cord is just long enough.
