OK - If I put this in the Other Site - NOBODY will see it - But I'm going to get a new Digital SLR - and the best price I can find on USA Stuff is at these places... ... I'm looking at a Canon 20D



Anybody familiar with them or recommend another?????

Oh and if you're not familiar with IS Lens (image Stabilized) - you're missing something... ... . these really work and are essentially bulletproof... ...

I've never ordered or heard of the aformentioned two. I have ordered from buydig.com and had good luck with excellent pricing. Best I remember, they carry the 20D.



EXCELLENT Camera btw!



Also, check a site named www.bensbargains.net. Do a search (mid page right hand side) for the 20D. Dell runs some great specials believe it or not. Ben usually has them posted on that site.

I bought my Fuji S7000 and my Nikon D70 from Cord camera on Ebay no problems. If the prices are way below everyone else chances are they are grey market or they try to gouge you on accessories. Just my . 02

We have the Cannon 20D and are pretty happy w/it. We did a side by side comparison w/the Nikon D2H and did not find it any better.



I agree w/Grizzly regarding Costco. Thats where we bought ours. They stand behind their products better then any business I have ever dealt with.

While Steve is Probably Right -

about the traffic - the only problem with the Other Site is that it doesn't show up on any of the quick searches - like last days/new etc. I know there have been some discussions some time back and maybe I'm just disgruntled.



As an example I seldom look at the other post - I should - but this take an additional step! As such the statistic regarding traffic is skewed IMO... . It's like having your store behind the mall - you have to find it. As such I feel cheated in that I know a subject isn't getting as much exposure as it could... ... ...

Actually all you have to do is turn the other forum on for searches and you'll see it there too. The S in the circle to the left of the forum name on the main forum list tells you which forums will show up in your searches. If there is a slash through the S and it's red that forum won't show up, if there isn't (and it's grey) it will. Just click on that S in a circle to change it's status. By default it is turned off.



The stat isn't skewed btw - I'm looking at the number of views of threads in the forums and the number of posts in that forum - they are roughly the same in the recent past. If there are the same number of posts and the same number of views they are each getting the same amount of exposure. There are over twice as many threads and posts in the other forum as in general diesel total btw.
