ARRRRRRGH Saturn Did it AGAIN

Do not get on the wrongs side of the man with the backhoe...

some of the handicap stalls have them. Being 6'6" the regular stalls are on par with the airliner bathrooms. Having the extra room is a plus and sometimes they have the toilets your talking about. Those make my day. I know simple pleasures simple minds.

anybody else notice the average stall is getting smaller? then they put that huge empty paper dispenser with a roll sitting ontop where it overhangs the bowl and you gotta sit cockeyed

Yes I actually put one in my shop. The standard toilets are usually 14 to 16 inches tall, whereas the ADA, (American Disabilties Act), compliant ones are 16 1/2 to 18 inches tall.

And yes they make life easier for those people whose bodies are starting to wear out, (backs, knees, hips and etc. ) However, a short spouse may not be as impressed.

I built my own house last year and my plumber talked me into one. Looking back now, I wish the other 4 toilets were the ADA height.

The other good thing about the tall toilets is that the tank is bigger allowing for more flushing power for those of us who tend to clog from time to time :-laf

being 6' 4" tall I LOVE them. However my my 5' 2" wife and my 3' 1" 2 year old daughter don't care for them. -Jason

I replaced the stool in the front bathroom with a ELJER high rise. I installed a THEIFOLD riser in the fifth wheel, i think its about 4 inches. Got it from camping world. Lots easier to get up from. ONE of my pet pieves, high water leval in some stools, COLD_COLD_COLD. BAD BOB
