taller tires

i have an 08 megacab 4x4 6speed manual 4. 10gears. it has the stock 235/80/17 tires on it. do you guys think going to a slightly taller tire such as a 33incher would hurt or help fuel milage. i know the added weight will hurt but will the lower rpms help. with fuel over 4bucks a gallon every little bit helps

You'll lose a little power to the ground as well. You sacrifice power for mileage.
