I am about to need new tires for my 99 2500 4x4 , and would like to go taller. I would like to know if anybody has had problems with the Toyo 235-85-16 rubing the inner fender. Also how do you correct the speedometer. Thanks R. T. B.

I have a set of 315-70or75-16's and they rub a little under full lock and the suspension compresses. no i have no lift on it. and as for the speedometer u can get a box from i think superlift. not real shur. u can progam from like 20 to 50 inch tires. good luck.

Speed-o Correction

Look for the Abbott for speedo correction. All the dealers have it or contact Jannetty on the WEB to get price or order. Easy to hook up and easy to adjust. I'm using 285-75R 16's with no problem.

Should be factory size!

I am about to put my third set of 235/85R on. I tried 255/85R which is even taller and had no problems with rubbing, just could not get much life out of the 255's. Lots of commercial options with the 235's. I have ran two sets of Toyo M55. I can highly recomend these. Very long life even with pulled hard. Not noisy and smooth riding.

I would check you MPH and Odometer with a GPS after new rubber on. Most trucks from factory read a faster speed. Larger tires might put it dead on or very slight off.
