How should I remove the tamper proof cap off of the fuel screw? Does it screw off? Pry off? I'm thinking about using vise grip pliers to break the plastic.

Gauges and tach ordered today. Adjusted the throttle linkage today, it help alot. I did not have to push my foot to the floor to get good acceleration.

Would a turbo off of a '98 12 valve be a good swap? I may have a line on one.

What does the AFC really do?

Still learning...

Yeah, grab it, twist it, pull it, beat it with a BFH..... wait! Not the last one! Sorry, I got carried away! ;) :-laf

You should fill out your signature, I can't remember what you have, so I'm not sure if the HX 35 is an upgrade or not. Usually, it's only a little upgrade. A 16cm ex housing is usually a better upgrade.

The AFC gives more fuel at higher RPM. More throttle= more boost which moves the fuel cone which gives more fuel.

Yea, I think I'll just beat it off, I'm pretty good at doing that. Just thought there may be an easier way. Need to get the 366 spring, it doesn't seem that difficult to install.

I'm still trying to get comfortable with this truck.

Put a Super B turbo on mine a few weeks back, along with a BD 3 piece and full 4" exhaust, really made a difference, wanting to add more fuel to it, but want to run another tank through it to verify MPG improvement. :D

I'll delete the muffler today. The flow restriction of the stock exhaust is unbelievable! This should result in a little more power, right?

Even if it didn't give you anymore power, the sound alone is worth it. Are you going to go full 4" in the future?

To the HX-35 from the '98, I wouldn't waste my money on it. It is just a tiny bit better than the H1C on intercooled trucks, and the money can be spent elsewhere. Like saving up for that S300. :-laf
