My 97 is a former resident of pennsylvania wich makes it a rusty p. o. s. The tank to lift pump fuel lines are about rusted through and I need to replace them. At the same time I would like to get a real fuel filter set up. And last I would like to keep it all mechanical. Has anyone ditched the dodge setup and gone with a easier to service all mechanical system? If so what did you do, and where is the best place to buy the stuff? Any good sources for new tank to T. P. lines?

Why not just replace the steel lines with a good high quality rubber line or push-loc hose?. I am going to guess you also are not a fan of the fuel filter location so why not just buy a Prime-Loc system from geno's garage and relocate it for easier access?. The steel fuel lines are a discontinued item from Ma Mopar as are the brake lines... ... Andy

FYI you can get the quick connectors that go to the tank from an auto parts store such as napa that have a regular rubber hose barb on the other end
