Looked under my 2004 ram,2500 have tape on the rocker panels instead of the rubber plugs. Called the dealer he has them on order,no cost to me:p Build date on my truck was 11-13-03. Why would you put tape over the holes instead of the rubber pulgs ??coobie:confused:

5 feet of tape is cheaper than 16 rubber plugs. factory could have ran out, and they are not going to hold up the line for plugs, or as someone else pointed it out, 95% of people don't know there is suppose to be plugs, so they don't think twice about them, the other 5% know and get them ordered free of charge from the dealer. lets say the plugs cost DC $0. 01 each. now that is $0. 16 per truck. say they sell 100,000 trucks. now if they all had plugs, that would cost them $16,000. now if they ship them without the plugs, and 5% of the consumers get them ordered from the dealer, the daimlerchrysler company saved $15,200. and that bit goes into some big boss' pocket eh...
