Anyone know where the bright lights circuit is for the headlights on an 01 3500?

We're installing some IPF driving lights tonite and wanna tap into the brights circuit for the signal for our relay.

Thanks!

Connect to the Violetw/White tracer on the back of the head light or under the dash if you are also using a switch. Good Luck

The violet/white has nothing to do with the high beam filament.

Be aware that your 2001 non-Sport Ram uses switched ground for the headlight circuit. Twelve volts is always present at the 9004 headlight bulbs. The filaments are turned on by supplying a path to ground via the multi-function switch and the headlight switch. The trigger coil of your relay needs one side attached to a fused source of 12 volts and the other side attached to the red/orange wire at the base of either 9004 headlight bulb. Take a look at this basic headlight circuit.
