I have a drag comp on the way and was wondering if it is worth it tapping the pump wire on my HRVP44? What differences are to be expected?

Thanks,

Sean

I would definitly tap the wire. There would be no reason to upgrade from a EZ to a Comp unless you were going to. You should see a very nice power gain also compared to the EZ.

There will be a gain, but not like if you were to just tap the wire on a standard VP. Mine is tappd and with all things considered, size of injectors, turbo, my gain on the dyno was less than 50 hp. You can feel it by the seat of pants, but each truck will act a little different. My wire is tapped and I don't even turn my box on, I like the power for eveyday driving, just where I am at. Have fun, Jim.
