Hey all,

I would like to commend everyone who worked on my truck. It turned out great.

Thank you daddy [How'dHeDoThat]. This truck is everything you and I dreamed it would be. Thank you for spoiling me rotten!

Thank you Mike [gunracer1], Grumpy ol' Ed (although your grumpy act didn't fool me), J. B. Hale [torquemech] or as I call him "Uncle B", and Joe with Suncoast Transmissions.

The fabrication is beautiful and functional. The truck is fine tuned and running very well.

I can't wait to get it on the track and let'er run!

Thanks guys!

Tasha

P. S. I smoked (both literally and figuratively) a Ford Lightning today. He ain't got nothin' on me!

As much as that's an impressive truck, it will be -30F in Haiti before any kid of mine has something like that handed to her.

Yeah, I'm a little jealous, because not only would I NEVER have been given a vehicle (no less a sweet pimped CTD) as a kid growing up, I can't afford it now.

Sure, I could write a check tomorrow-- but I like being married too much! :-laf :-laf

Tasha, appreciate what you have. The real world is often a lot less loving than your parents!

Very nicely done Tasha. :D It has been a while since I have seen an outboard twin set up. I think HVAC had the first one I had ever laid eyes on.

We can always use another twin turboed truck over in the 3rd gen forum.

I wonder if Tasha has a significant other, if not maybe she would like to meet an older more experienced guy that could share some of her hobbies and get along with dear old dad very well?

That looks great. . Who built your twins, and what turbos did you go with? Looks very impressive. .

We went with the Turbonetics T70 with a . 58 Housing(very small) and a T91 Thumper with a 1. 00 housing.

We used a NewGen(Turbonetics) 50 mm wastegate.

A Turbonetics "godzilla" blow off valve is used as a "tool" for controlling boost.

Mike Shannon(Gunracer1) and Ed at the machine shop fabbed em up.

Myself and JB Hale put them together and took them apart over and over, tweaking, tuning, and dolling them up.

Currently we have them set(by wastegate) to go 60psi and the BOV is actually coming alive on deacceleration.

JB did all the painting including the front and rear diffs.

Thanks

In reply:

BDR- No Dyno numbers yet. Still breaking everything in. I hope to have some soon.

BManis- Uhm... Thanks. ;)

Morse- See my daddy's reply.

Tomeygun- Yes we did lose the 2nd battery.

Thanks guys!

I have to ask about the thing that is above the fuel filter. What is it? There is something to be said about a lady and her truck. I am jealous though that thing has more bombs than mine. Tasha, that is a sweet ride go easy on the furds and duraduds. Oh and by the way I am open to the idea of being adopted or put in a will, lol.

I assume you are refferring to the "godzilla" Blow off valve mounted to the intake horn?

I don't know if I can afford another kid... My 14 going on 15 YO son is making us "help him" rebuild an 01 4x4 with an 05 Motor. We are up to our elbows in that project.

That is a very nice truck and that engine compartment is awesome congrats!! Oo.

JB HALE (torquemech) is the one that gets the credit on the engine bay. He put in countless hours on it.

Thanks for the compliment

James
