South Bend A1 in Customer service

Man Kennedale sure is a cool track. I will tell my brothers about it. (They really are twins) Tasha you should take that sweet ride out to YellowBelly one Sunday afternoon. Those guyz won't know what to think. :-laf

Well, I appologize guys!

The fuel preparator came in a day later than planned. Seems to be the story of my life. Well, I will have to show it off at some other event.

Thank you everyone for your support. I hope I didn't stand anyone up.

With two females in my house, I stand corrected, bruised, and whipped into submission :(

Life is good!

On another note: Preporator is in now(after some novice failed attempts at a 1/2 ID pickup tube). Now if I get her back from College long enough to steal her truck, I will hook up with Don M at the Dyno again

Update

Tasha is away at Baylor U now so we are limited to the weekends as far as tuning. We DID install a FUEL PREPORATOR which is awesome but had issue with the purchase of the product(LONG STORY).

The Fuel Preporator and 1/2 inch lines, including a new pickup tube made a HUGE difference in the FUEL ECONOMY. We are seeing a 4mpg increase in some cases and almost always see 3 mpg gains. Is this what the 3rd Gen needs for fuel economy? More FUEL or cleaner less aerated fuel? I don't know for sure but it is a pretty noticable increase especially at 3. 00 per gallon.

The exhaust housing on the T70 is a VERY small . 58.

The T91 is a 1. 00 housing. The T70 is FAR from being laggy it is very impressive. The surge is sometimes real apearant but not really an issue. The T91 is spinning at idle.

We WILL be deleting the BOV(being used to control intake boost levels). It is working real well as a BOV but it cannot hold anything over 70 PSI and this set seems to run really well at 80-83 psi. Wastegate set at 20-22 psi. The BOV is extremely fast as a pressure release and in fact it sounds like someone set off a string of fireworks at 80 psi. There is no issue of turbo runaway because it opens and closes so rapidly.

I laid out 2 different burnouts today and both were in excess of 80 feet and both ended at the topside of 2nd gear(automatic). Fun truck!

I have another project going now that is a 2005 motor and electronics going into a 2001 4x4 Quad Cab. We will be installing a Full Blown Suncoast 48re in it also. JB HALE (torquemech) is helping out with the wrenching and Bling on most of the job. I have already picked out the TURBO SYSTEM that will be employed on that truck and it should be a fun one as well.

That truck is way to sweet to be cruising around Beverly Hills. I will tell my brothers to keep an eye out for that sweet ride.

Hum, ... Did your kit come with the in tank tube?

How did you tie into the motor with the 1/2" line? I tied into where the directions said to and that orfis was smaller than 3/8.

Cali,

I didn't get a kit with the 135-A. We literally got everything from Hydraulic Suppy Houses. We drilled and installed our own bulkheads and measured for our own 1/2"ID Pickup tube from rigid AirBrake Line.

We had a fuel canister for an 05 so we used it for our Lift Pump Delete and we ported the fuel heater.

We have since ported and threaded the 04 fuel canister for future use.

A hydraulic Supply House will have everything you need.

Good Luck

James

Ps We also ported alot of the fittings

wuz up?

Hey Tosha, just wondering what size wheels and tires with what lift? Also i think it is sexy as hell when a woman drives a truck like that. I bet you complement the truck well. Hope to hear from ya, later.

Tosha and DAD,

Absolutely awesome work, a true truck of beauty. I'll bet it blows doorson most rigs out there!! How does it feel to drive a dream? Any video's yet?

Greetings

Tasha has been driving this truck back and forth to Waco from Dallas every week. She will soon be home for the summer where I, OOPS we  can play with it some more.

This build exceeded my expectations as I wanted a drivable truck, smoke controlled, AND dependable transportation for my daughter.

It is all of that and more.

Thanks DON, MIKE, ED, and Suncoast.

Thanks for the compliments too!
