Taking my truck out for a test drive...

I have a Taurus pt 145 Millennium. The first several hundred rounds it loved everything, then it would misfire(light strike) on one or two reloads

at a range day. It went downhill from there. Now it will only fire Factory ammo or Winchester primers. I load every thing with CCI #300 Large pistol primers.

At first I thought it was my reloads however my range buddies could fire every misfire I had and any of my reloads with no problem even in another PT 145, Baby desert eagle,1911, and sig.

I had my gunsmith send it back to Taurus, they put a new fireing pin spring and fired a magazine of factory and sent it back. (if you use reloads it cancels your warranty). No change on reloads

What I am asking does anyone else have a similar problem?

I had a 2 stovepipes and 3 FTFs the first time out with my new OSS, but a quick field strip and a half a can of gun scrubber into the firing pin along with a thorough scrubbing to the rails using an old toothbrush fixed that completely. If you haven't tried it, use some gun scrubber with the little tube stuffed directly into the firing pin. Hose it down REAL good, if you do re-oil the firing pin do it sparingly.

My firing pin broke after 75 rounds and I had to send it back to Taurus for repair. Have not fired it since I got it back.
