Nice pics, personally, i think we should have bomed it where it sat as soon as we got our crew back instead of wasting so much time negotiating with them and now, spending all this money to dismantle it instead of just flying it back. I would rather see a pic of a crater where it sat, let the Chinese try and bill us for the runway.

It makes me sick to see a plane that is repairable, cut up into pieces. After seeing this, I like the crater idea.

EMD and Jconley... I agree with you completely. I would have been happy to have been on the plane that would drop the bomb.

My dad and I discussed the fact that we should have destroyed that plane once the air crew was safely home. A Tomahawk cruise missle with an FAE warhead would have been perfect. Don't know if this warhead would leave a crater or not, so maybe a Mk84 2000 lb GP bomb followed by Durandal would be better. We should have done something... ... .
