Thanks, TDR Staff

Earnhardt did not make it :-(

Guess what I had to do.

Yea, I have heard about this before. A guy I used to work with was all over this subject. He tried to explain it to all of his co-workers only to be ridiculed. There is a guy in Hanover (not far from me) who specializes in this. The way I understood it was you have to claim yourself as a "citizen of the United States" not a "United States citizen". The only people who are United States citizens are people who live in Washington DC. You can supposedly get your last three years of income tax refunded in their entirety and never pay income taxes again. Another reason the guy I worked with claimed the IRS was illegal was because no one ever signs a document, therefore all notices sent to him requesting back taxes were null and void. I can look up the phone number of the specialist if you'd like.

Back in 1978 Larry Freeman (co-worker) made national news when he wouldn't pay taxes on VERY simular grounds to the one on the site refferenced. He was so sure and had some almost ready to do the same. I'll cut to the quick, he paid all back taxes (w/penalty!) and did about a year in Lompoc ("white coller" prison). When he returned to work I asked him how it was, he replied, "not too bad, except I had to pay one big guy to keep another one off my a$$".

The IRS is the largest organized criminal operation and I am afraid it's safer to pay your taxes for now until the people rebel in numbers. Sad, yes. Realistic, I believe so.

Like someone posted earlier, I think it was under the bumper stickers thread,
THE IRS, WE GOT WHAT IT TAKES TO TAKE WHAT YOU GOT.
