COMMENTS: Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago and our nation was the most prosperous in the world, had absolutely no national debt, had the largest middle class in the world and Mom stayed home to raise the kids.

To be just a bit fair here, many of those items did not exist 100 years ago, but maybe that's no excuse to tax them either. It's getting better though, if we can keep the dems from taking it back from us.

If Feinstien, Boxer, and Schumer have their way you can add 'Bullet Tax. ' which would make me very unhappy.



Even though I am a city Government worker, I can certainly understand how people are fed up with taxes. They can certainly waste some money, and do it on a grand scale.

why just pick on the dems? the republicans spend money like water too. Pretty soon it's going to be ultra rich vs. old, tired, use OUR taxes to pay for the WHOLE freaking world, middle class! republicans and dems are both to blame, they're both politicians with no concept of the real world. Allowing our factory's to move over sea's, and importing tons of food we can easliy grow here. Sqeezing as much as they can out of the middle class. They're going to find out they can only get so much out of us. Then it will change.

Yeah, there's $87 billion of OUR taxes going to Halliburton and other companies and the Iraqi people to quiet them after we blew thru their country. And the Federal govt. is bigger now than under any Democratic Congress or President.
