Boy, an I in a mess. After 30 minutes of searching the dealer found the plug need for the tps. I spliced the wires and put in new plug. Things went down hill from here. I cut the connections and reconnected using different method. Now, here is the fuin part. Before tc would occassionally (two or three times a day)kick in and out. New scenerio: Will not shift at 45mph like it used to. I have to step on it and drive rpms to about 2200 to 2300. If I do this, everything kicks in at about 50 to 55. If I drive 70mph, everything seems to function normal. As soon as I slow down below 65, not only does tc kick out, it down shifts a gear. I won't even go in to what it does trying to drive 45 to 55. In short, I turn 2200 to 2400 rpms and let her roar. I have about given up. By the way, I unplugged two other connectors to work on tps connector. One of the connectors is mounted to a solid base just to the right and little low of were you add power steering fluid. This connector was extremely oily on the inside. I do not think this is a good thing seeing as how I never messed with it before. Does anyone know what this is connected to and could it be the problem. I am about ready to sacrifice and head to a mechanic. Does anyone know a good diesel mechanic in San Antonio, Texas? Thank you for taking the time to read my feeble attempt at writing a novel. Confused in San Antonio. By the way, anybody want to buy a truck?

Did you adjust the new TPS with a volt meter after you installed it?Thats an important part of the install. Read how to do it herecheck into other parts of that link that are metioned at the top of the article. I'd also clean those oily connectors you spoke of with electronic cleaner.
