Hey all,

I drive a V10 daily for work:( I was wondering if the same wiring for the tc lock switch woiuld work for it as the DC? Thank God I own on of the last rightly vavled ones!;) Just in case she wants to drive it. This site is great and thanks in advance.

The wiring should be the same since the transmissions are essentially the same. I'm not sure why you would want to do it on a gas engine since they don't have the narrow power band of the diesel.

Ok second part of the equation. Will it still behave like a auto when she gets behind the wheel with the switch off? I don't want her to enjoy it to much I will never get it back. . :D

With a stock TC... transmission temps will raise due to the inefficient fluid coupling of the TC when not in lockup... .

Gotta be mighty careful with a TC lockup switch... .
