TC Lockup Switch

First I appologize for bringing this up again. I was checking out a site that has a wiring diagram for lockup switch but it says not for California Trucks. Can anyone tell me why this would be so?

Why do you want to lock up you tc? The only time it doesn't hurt the tc is when used for a Exhaust brake. If you do a search on mystery switch you will find the diagram.
