TC unlock switch in, now it locks up earlier?

put in a switch so I can unlock the TC, now with switch on or in stock mode it locks up earlier than before, now it locks around 45-50 mphs, does this seem to early and anyone know why putting the switch in would make this happen?

45-50 sounds about right to me, mine locks up at 46 right now! I was told this was all decided by TPS voltage but you can't just crank it way up as it will pop a code.

Check your TPS voltage. Don't worry about codes on your '95. It's kind of dumb about that. Mine locks up about 55. Of course, that depends on how hard I'm standing on it. With a heavier hoof it's higher than 55. :-laf

James and I talked about this when he did my transmission, I wanted it to delay till 60 or so but it seems I can only do that with a Smart Controller... ... Oh well time for more mods.

Jim,



The '94 and '95 have the 47RH transmission instead of the 47RE like you have. The CPM has to be different and a little dumber for the RH.
