Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) TCC unlocking

I am a new subscriber to TDR and this is my first post. I just posted my truck's profile. If anyone needs more info. please let me know and I will update. I have read several posts about adding a cap. at the TPS to remove noise causing irratic TCC unlocking. I plan on implementing this today. I read another that touched on the Trans. temp. sensor causing this problem and the individual utilized a resistor and disconnected the sensor and it cured his ailments. Does anyone know the details of this fix? I'm dedicating the day to transmission fluid/filter and readjusting TPS to specs I found here. I am also interested in turning up the line pressure while I'm in there (stock transmission). I'm assuming this adjustment is under the pan. Any help with this would also be greatly appreciated!
