This magazine subscription is provided by Magazine Express, Inc.

that's from the amazon site. who are they? [magazine express inc???]

Well, I decided to stop subscribing to Consumer Reports and I was looking for another magazine to subscribe to. So I went to Amazon to see how much Diesel Progress is. I searched in the magazine section for "diesel" and there it was!



[BTW, I ended up going with Motor Trend... ]

if you are talking about the diesel progress north american edition, that is FREE and i subscribed to it a while back...

it is a good read. there is lots of stuff in there about off hwy engines and equipment, and OTR trucks and engines, as well as other stuff. lots of ad's but that's why it is free

There is not really much we can do. I used my personal charge card to "test" to see if this was legitimate. I was charged some unreasonable about (about $49. 00), but the TDR offices did, in fact, receive a new subscription order from Amazon.com. So, it works. We knew nothing about it. And we can't figure out why anyone would subscribe via Amazone.com for a $15 premium. But, they apparently are within their rights to be a referral company. Who would have guessed?

Same reason people will pay $20/quart for dealer-fluid when the identical stuff is available elsewhere for 1/3 the cost... . not enough research on the subject.



I suppose it's legal, but it's a shame people get suckered into that sort of thing. Oh well...

This is a great magazine with lots of knowledge and resources. If you are into Dodge diesels or just diesels in general, this is a perfect magazine... .



I've always disliked www.amazon.com since they changed their policy in regards to personal information... so when I saw this magazine listed at the whopping price of $49, I couldn't pass up the chance to tell you where you could get it for $35.
