Yesterday I tried to buy a clutch set from two TDR vendors and hit a brick wall. One didn't sell to the public and their distributers didn't have what I wanted. They only sell a stock set for 1978 Ford 4x4/400 cid. So I tried another vendor and left a message, 5 hrs later they got back to me. By that time I ordered one from Summit. Stage two Centerforce cover and stage 3 clutch disk from Mcleod, aluminum/kevlar combo.

I really wanted to buy from TDR vendors but no luck:confused:

The one that took so long getting back to you could have just been that busy. I know that isn't much help when you are down and want to get up and running, but unfortunately that does happen. The other one that had only one clutch package for a Ford should be brought to the attention of the TDR staff. Either post the names here, so others can compare the experiences they may have had with the same vendor, or notify the TDR staff directly. Stop it from happening to other members. I for one have never had a problem with any of the vendors in TDR. Were they in the mag or the Geno's catalog?

No snow here in Snowflake today... a guy named Snow and a guy named Flake were co-founders for Snowflake:) however I have plowed
3 feet of snow with my Bobcat... the old Ford is my brothers sled puller, it has a stout running 400, about 600 hp @ 7,000 rpm.
