TDR Flyers

Did anyone catch on the back or the TDR magaizine that TDR will send you free flyers to put in your glove box to give to other CTD owners? There have been several times I have parked next to CTD, some bombed some not and wanted to tell them about TDR. This would be a great way to spread the word.

I just Xerox'ed the inside of the back page, put my "handle" on it, stick 5-6 in the console, and give them out when I run across another CTD whose owner doesn't know about the TDR.

I have been doing that for awhile. Robin has sent me several bunches of them, but now I just give out a business card that I made on the computer... it has the TDR website address on it, and my name and email.

TDR buiness cards with our handles, email, website address, etc. Now this is a great idea! Hmmmm... ...



So Rob how did you do this? Sounds like a good project for someone. Create a template in Word, that we can all invoke, add our handles, etc. Then print them on a sheet of thick paper, or take them to kinkos. etc and have a few sheets printed. Then cut them out.



This way we all have the same look and feel to the cards, but unique for us all. We each pay to have our own printed, however we choose to do it.

I just went to office depot and bought a cheap business card program... 20 bucks, and it includes lots of blank cards, in sheets.



You can add graphics or use theirs.

Microsoft word has a template for business cards.

It is located in the drop down menu "Tools"

Then choose envelopes and labels. Then pick the correct card by number. (You get the number off the package of business cards you buy. Usually Avery brand)Then just fill up the business card.

I'm new to word, can you email your template and I'll order the avery labels to match. That way I can see what you have done and do something simular? Perhaps there should be a "standard" business card format? Thanks

I have a real basic word template with my info on it if anyone wants it I will email it to them. You can then just change the personal info and add anything you want to it.

Hmm if we can get nice FREE flyers from TDR why not go that route? Then you dont have to buy avery lables/cards etc... .....

Very true! I like to have a couple cards in my wallet for convenience but some flyers would be nice also.
