I have noticed a ramp up in banners and off topic advertising all over the forums, but I understand things and times must change.
I had hoped the TDR forum wouldn't turn into a click bait style site but I looks like it is.

We didn't put that ad in, nor select it. Google Adsense, which TDR has been using for 14 years, inserted it and it's an automated system. You've been around a long time, that isn't Robin's and Robert's style (nor mine) to display that kind of ad here and I'll get it resolved ASAP. Thanks and sorry for this, if I did it then I goofed, but AFAIK none of the settings for which ads Google selects have changed, which is why this is so odd.

Google's stats show 0.7% of ads shown were "dating" related. I've disabled this category in it, but there's no guarantee it will block it the first time as it may be an advertiser mislabeling an ad (Google has millions of advertisers). Generally it takes a few hours for a settings change to take effect, so if you see them after today let me know and I'll look into it.
