Help wanted in Orange County, Ca. .....

SLC Membership

In the past there has been interest starting a chapter, but no one will step forward and take rains to get it started. There have been get-togethers for breakfast but then that guy moved and no more togethers. Go to the member list and you can find a number of people in Utah. But they are listed by the city first , or by the state if no city is given, so it is a little difficult to get them all bunched together, but if you have alot of time it could be done to make a list.

Just my penny's worth.

I talked to Eric about this a few weeks ago.

He said that a couple of members got together at red robin by valley fair mall?

I would like to have a monthly dinner some where... Any suggestions as to where we could have it?

Justin

Well, it sounds like there are 5-7 people interested in doing something here. I'd be willing to assist, however, I dont want to take the whole project on. Anyone interested in tag teaming this?

We've had what could be called meet and greets and II. Usually they are meet, buy, install, repeat. It would be fun to get together with alot of TDR members though.

FYI,

Im not from the SLC area but travel there at least twice a year to visit wifes family.

The Valley Fair Mall is right down the street from where we stay.

I live just outside of ogden and have wondered why with all the trucks around here we don't really have any organized activity. I would be very interested to be involved and probably have about twenty friends who would be iterested too.

So how about for a start, we agree on like a dinner or breakfast every so often Like every month or so at a restaurant... . This will do 2 things.

1. getting together to have fun and do wonderfull BS sessions

2. To maybe try to get some Discussions going on a chapter.

There are alot of people in Ogden I know and several here in SLC area so I imagine we can have a fun time. I was the one that got some of us together in the Red Robin Restaurant at Valley Fair mall for Breakfast... . There is plenty of parking to Show our trucks to each other and visit.

Hows that?

I drive truck for a living so I am only available for sundays as that is the only day I am home. As such I am not really able to set alot of things or run a chapter... . I might be able to reserve a large table in the place just before the date... .

Yes we can use our place to meet and there is some restaurants very close to eat also. We can show you around our shop and have some question and answer sessions. Also we can show you what the latest products from us and many different venders. We also would love to see a strong chapter in Utah. We would help in any way. Brady

let's do it!!!

count me in... . let's do it . I agree with Eric we should meet somewhere in SLC for breakfast and go from there. It's great Brett would be willing to use his shop for us to tour. We are lucky, we have many vendors in our area like industrial injection, Edge, Diesel Performance of Utah, Baker's Diesel Performance, Carrigan Motors (Dodge Dealer) to name a few, that have all helped us at one time or another in the past. I too, have not the time or energy to do this or take charge... It was something Dee Rawson and myself tried several years ago to do when we started Edge dyno days. In the past several years Edge has taken over the yearly event on there own and is widely attended by hundreds of truck owners in Utah. At least we should meet, get to know one another and have some fun!!!

Ok.

When? Where?

And how many will be attending?

So far...

1. Eric Buckel (EricBu12)

2. Justin Pitts (justinp20012500)

3. Billy Bancroft (billywj)

4. Steve Covalt (HebeRam) Are you still in Heber, or did you migrate to the valley?

5. Brady (II)

6. Samuel Ray (gravedigger)

Who else?

We need to get a accurate count to reserve a table(s).

Lets try to decide on a date that makes sense for all of us that want to attend. I think a Saturday would be good but you guys decide and we will be glad to help. Thanks

If II is willing to host this first event, we should take advantage of their generosity; as well as take the tour.

I too would prefer a Saturday. I have a few of questions:

1) How often is everyone willing/wanting to meet?

2) Should we set something up on say the 2nd Sat of every month/every other month?

3) Is a restaurant the preferred meeting place?
