Closer to God

Views on Friendly fire that killed 4 Canadians.

On behalf of those who sent donations to help my grandson Justin with his fight against lukemia, my stepson Steve added the TDR link to Justin's website.

Scroll to the bottom. By the way, Jan 14, Justin will go to Children's Hospital in Philadelphia for his bone marrow transplant. This will make it or break it for him.

I've only heard good things about Fletcher-Allen in Burlington. I hope your experience was a good one. My mom is indirectly related to all child-care facilities in VT, big to small, hospitals to foster care, and she loves the people both at and associated with Fletcher-Allen.

If you have to return to VT again sometime, maybe us northerners could arrange to meet you someplace, just so you could meet some of the guys and gals who are here for you all the way. Just a thought, but who knows.

Good luck, and I hope he pulls though soon Oo.

Scott,

It is my stepson's son who is ill. My wife was up to Burlington to see them in the hospital but I have not gone up. We did spend xmas with them at their home near Massena, NY.

As I understand it, Fletcher-Allen has been a god send for them, thus far keep Justin alive. While there, they stay in the Ronald McDonald house. Very positive support overall.

Justin's father Steve put together the website because he could not keep up with emailing thanks to the many people who offerred them support. Steve has been trying to eck out a living via online activeties since being laid off by Corning Optical. Perhaps getting laid off was a good thing since it has allowed him to be there for his son.

Thank you for the kind thoughts.
