IMHO, if there was no fee, It'd be just like the F*rd site and frankly, way too much arguing, name calling and trolling going on there. I have better things to do than read all that cr*p. Happy to pay the $35. 00.

Bouncy - you are paying for a subscription to the magazine and as a benefit you are getting access to the website. The magazine subscription price has been $35 since it's inception. The website was added in 99. The magazine supports this site and without that it wouldn't exist. The revenue from banner advertising doesn't even put a dent in the cost of operating the site. The members only features of the site are an additional incentive for people to subscribe to the magazine. By being limited to members only it also helps to limits the amount of "trolling", etc on the site. There are a number of free options out there if that's what people are looking for.

Great site steve. Not sucking up,but I would pay $135 bucks a year for the Mag. and Info I have learned form this site. I plan renewing ,mag. sub. Thanks again for the good Info. coobie

I just got my renewal reminder too. I told my wife I was gonna just sent $350. 00 to make sure the next 10 years were covered. She didn't think that was necessary of course! I was kidding too. To me, $35. 00 is well worth the info that is available here. The magazine is just an added bonus.

I got my subscription notice last week. From what I've learned here and for all the fun flaming folks it has been worth every penny.

What really stood out is it cost 43 bucks for the folks in Canada. Figured it must be for translation fees... . all them ayes and aboots they have to include. :-laf

I think TDR and it's magazine are great! I've been a member for about 8 months and I owned a Dodge Cummins 2500 three years before joining. I've learned more about these beasts in the past few months than in the previous three years because of this site! I thought I gave up vehicle modifications in my younger drag racing days, but this site has me thinking about BOMBING (maybe just light mods) my 305/555. Just still a little scared to overdo it and break something right now--truck's only 6 months old. I know the Cummins is the strongest part of the drivetrain already. Anyway... . TDR is a great resource!:D

10 cents a day to be a part of all of this? What more could one ask for. It's cheap entertainment, especially lately.

Maint of a CTD... $$
