Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) TDR saved me more money again!

Just installed Larry B super contacts which saved me from buying a new starter. =$200 saving. Kdp fixed savings from repair $1500. 5th gear nut repair=$400 to $2000 . I do my own timing valve adjust and other repairs thanks to the help from TDR. So TDR has saved me at least $3500 to $4000.

Cant beat that.

Tell me about it... Several year sgo I went to a local meet. I needed a new exhaust and thought I might go with a 4" because it was cheaper than a stock replacement. Ended getting sucked up into the dark side - plate, injectors, turbo mods, etc... .

No kidding, I bet I've spent every nickel I've saved and then some on performance upgrades. Oo. :-laf



All joking aside, there is no replacement for the satisfaction of turning the wrenches yourself and knowing how the work is done. I have gotten more hours of enjoyment from working on my truck with the knowledge I have gained from the TDR. And I put a smile on my face every time I roll some smoke or blow the doors off someone. Thanks TDR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TDR has saved me on average $150 a year in what some would consider "small cost" repairs. I say $150 is A LOT of money! :-laf



Well worth the $35 fee a year, but oh yeah... . the g/f of the time paid for the first year and my mother paid for the 2nd as a present..... weren't they sweet! :-laf



On the downside... ... eerr was that darkside? :-laf



I do NOT want to know what I spent on my original 97 I had the previous 2yrs.
