I helped a co-worker of mine with knowledge gained from TDR searchs and info I had gleaned concerning a "low Power" condition in his sons 95 Cummins.

He has a 93 but his sons 95 had low power and trouble starting again after getting his engine hot. I sent him many TDR e-mails on "low Power" searchs based on stuff I had learned from my "low Power" problems. To make a long story short I suggested how to check for boost leaks and check the fuel return lines and fuel shutdown solenoid and lift pump pressure.

Since I had bought a "Fuel Overflow Valve" and never installed it I told him to use it to replace his to see if it was bad. WaHOO! Oo. It fixed his problem and he and his son are thinking of joining the TDR ranks. He was told about the value of gages (boost/EGT/Fuel) in troubleshooting and safely monitering engine parameters to avoid problems.

Thanks to all you TDR members for making this the best Cummins site on the web. He was impressed with the amount of info from TDR pertinent to his problem. ;) He was certainly convinced of the value of suscribing to TDR. ;)

TDR Rules! :D
