I would like to invite everyone who is able and willing, to sign up on the TDR travel companion site. Please provide your contact info and the general area where you are (state, city, or other reference point), so you can be reached.

The TDR travel companion pages are set up so YOU can be a good neighbor to other TDR members. Whether it's just to ask where to stay for the night, or help out in an emergency, or even just a friendly visit with a cyber-friend, the TDR travel companion can be immensely helpful to people if disaster strikes. You don't need to be a mechanic or have anything besides a willingness to be eyes, ears, or maybe even just some legs or a ride for someone when things go wrong.

This crazy world has forgotten how to help each other in a personal fashion, and this is a chance to bring back some of that good, old-fashioned help, person-to-person.

PW... I signed up, but forgot my phone number... there is no edit option, so I can't add it :(

Can you help me... I have asked Kat and Ken. Kat says only Ken can do it, and I am sure he is busy... Ken says eventually there will be an edit option :D

I just noticed that Oregon is kicking some TDR butt in the Travel Companion! They have 15 members signed up, Washington is running a close second, with 13. WooHoo for the Northwest!

OK. I just signed up. Although I don't know if anyone knows where Machias Washinton is. Hint- go east of lake stevens. OK! It's east of Everett. Allright Then! North of Seattle!

Washington and Oregon... . 31 members signed up.

The rest of the world... ... ... . 91 members signed up.

I love the NorthWest!

I have tried to sign up several times--allways get rejected for something having to do with URL?????

Don't think there are any other members here on the southern Oregon coast.

Rob, I tried using the same TDR, It was rejected. Screen said it was allready used. I used something else. Oh ya, my e-mail address. :)

You guys from the Northwest are making everyone else look bad!

No, I guess maybe you're just making yourselves look good! Congratulations on the support from that part of the world.

I just added my name to the travel companion and I was only the 2nd from Oklahoma. Thought that everyone down here was a little friendlier than that? Oh well, maybe it just hasn't caught on yet?

The farthest I have been Northwest is Montana, mostly in the Bitterroot Valley area, but as soon as I get a fiver to go with the Dodge I'll rectify that. Need to see that part of the U. S. and visit some of you "friendly folks". Again, congrats for support from the Northwest.

That area of Montana is beautiful! Igrew up in Montana and still love it. I live in Washington now, come out here and visit anytime.

Ontario USA?

Put my name and numbers in the travel companion, but unfortuntely Ontario is listed as USA and not Canada.  Is it possible to edit/update the information posted?

Thanks for the invitation. I'm "homing in" on a used 5'er now and hope to do some traveling maybe even this summer and fall. I am retired, but my wife still works so I don't know how much long distance traveling I'll do by myself? I looked up where Enumclaw is and that's a LONG way from Oklahoma!

As they say in Oklahoma, if I ever get to "your neck of the woods", I'll give you a call and buy you a cup of coffee, drink, meal, or whatever.

Dave

I just got mine submitted but it is not posted yet ... ... I don't know if it needs to be checked for cuss words first or what. Perhaps those guys in the northwest have some kind of a block on it so that no other area can catch up

Most likely just some delay, I will check again tomorrow.

I think that this travel companion is a great idea.

Nope... we don't. We live here and would rather have all the other states sign up! Doesn't do us any good to go on vacation and have to call home for help!
