Thanks to all

Did my first oil change today, went very well.

Can't find the thread of the saint who posted using a 1 gal Ziploc when removing oil filter. Gave me time to wipe dirt and other grime from under the hood, instead of mopping up oil in hard to reach spots. It worked great!

Well... . it wasn't me, but I use that tech. as well, works great. Hardest problem is hiding the extra bags from the wife, they always seem to end up in the freezer when I need one for the next oil change :D . Welcome aboard !!!!!

I think you will have difficulty finding anyone who has not gotten their money's worth from the TDR. It is the tricks like these that really help, as well as the product information.

You are so right! My last $35 worth was squirting the intermediate steering shaft to get rid of that horrible SQUEEK!

THANKS TDR folks!

I agree,

I used a trash bag, instead of a freexer bag - but same difference. Thats the best tip I 've gotten anywhere.

I dunno, that $35 I spent has cost me many thousands thus far with more on the way (see signature!) Let's see, where's that EZ - gotta get it plugged in. Then the NAPA 2790 air filter, then the 4" Jardine, then..... ;)

I agree with all of you. You think you have it all till you go to a meeting and see something different. Kind of like Pepsi, gotta have it!

Have to agree with Rusty, still would have the same truck as now, but it would have been completely stock. Sure, my wallet would have been thicker, but at what price ? It's real nice to understand the engine and to be able to fix what's wrong, or at least understand what's wrong and correct the problem.

As for the mad BOMBing... I sometimes wonder if I really made a wise decision when I threw away the warranty. Then I get in the truck, after first patting the VP44 on the head, lol, and realize that you only go around once, might as well have some fun :D

This has been posted time and time again - they will send you a sticker. All you have to do is send a sef-addressed, stamped envelope to:

TDR/Web Site Decal

3651 Peachtree Parkway PMB E 331

Suwanee, GA 30024

or if you wish you can get an embossed plastic nameplate by sending $1 to the above address. That pays for the postage and the mailer used to send it.
