Which temp sensor? The one for engine controls (see above post) or the one for the trip computer? The trip computer one is mounted on the underside of the hood, just behind the grille.
 
You may have a sensor that's skewed high. I'll bet they don't cost much and are real easy to replace. Mine has been within a degree of what the weather folks say it is outside, as long as I'm going 30mph or better. It will go up sitting in traffic, or on a hot day with the asphalt making the road temp higher, too.
