ISB Diagnostics

Jason, How well does that book cover the Dodge/Cummins engine. The ECM is different so I

wonder if other deviations exist? If it covers our engine properly then I'll order one from CW. Looks like I will be picking up a new ECM from CW to replace the one that I fried!

It is the ISB Light Duty Fuel System Troubleshooting and Repair Manual (wow isn't that a mouthful!)-Cummins part # 3666288. It pretty much ignores any of the Dodge part of the truck and concentrates on the Cummins ECM and sensor stuff. The fault codes are Cummins own-not sure if they can be read with a jobber scan tool but they could be converted to Chrysler ones I'm sure. There's a lot of neat info in here re. sensor readings, troubleshooting trees etc... ... but you pretty much need the Chrysler service manual as well.



I've gotta phone Cummins Alberta again one of these days to check on a Horton fan clutch-so if I remember I'm gonna order the proper Cummins engine service manual at the same time. Just in case!
