Competition Mass Diesel Making Alot Of Power !

Coverage of the '05 Diesel Nationals in Indy.

If you were there, tune in. Ya may see yer self.

Even if you didn't compete, ya got a shot at makin it on national TV. Just ask the fellers that made their truck bed into a swimmin pool! :-laf

I guess in this one, ya get to see under the hood of Kent's pullin truck.

Anyone else think we need to get together with "Spike" and get a show together just about Diesel pickups?

totaly agree with also the elimination of MR STEROID on TRUCKS... the dude (probably is a chick that just had an addadictome operation) needs to go!!!... . I am getting close to clearing his throat for him... bring back Stacy David!!!

Diesel show, Stacey David, sounds like a show I'd watch!

CKimball, thanks for making me regurgitate my lunch with the add a dic to me comment! LMAO!

Hurry up, starts in 15min. . 1pm EDT.

Edit: BLAH!! Was it just me but did it seem like the show would've been better if the girl had her top off??? They didn't show enough of the engine and exhaust side...

Killer installment. Great way for DHRA to be seen. My only complaint... . we only got 8 seconds of Keating doing burnouts... . :-laf

If the monkeys @ Spike did do a Diesel only show, I think it would look allot like that Fish wrap called Diesel power Mag. Isuzu's and Navistars for as far as you can Puke. Not to mention all the chrome crap on those poser wanabe "offroad POS's". When ever I go "wheeling" I usually see 4-5 Chrome cowboys parked rubbing their nether regions on that new lift and nitro shocks. Or riding quads.

Unfortunately the "Real" diesel stuff would not appeal to the masses of inhumanity so what you get is glitz and fluff, Not torque, smoke and roost. Rant over.

Yeah didn't we only get like 5 seconds of the Scheid pullin engine? That was the whole point of me watching. I can't stomach all those gasser trash shows on Spike. Rant over lol.

I don't (or mainstream TV doesn't) think there is enough of us, either pullin' or draggin' to draw the sponsorship needed to cover the expense of a show. Lets be honest... . Spike or any other channel does not produce shows for fun... . its about $$$$.

I think the average Joe looking at the velocity or quantity of soot thinks we are evil. I'm thankful for whatever coverage we can get... it's a start.

I've been thinking that for awhile and I wonder how the market is able to support a magazine. I think that for a short period of time you could sustain a show because, like the Diesel Power magazine, there are a lot of things that would be considered old like the build-up of trucks that are obsolete but eventually you'll get to a point where everything is plug and play or bolt on and the average joe will be able to do it in the garage... . look at the show Trucks... how many times can they show a bolt-on lift kit?? It might be on a GMC, Dodge or Ford but it's still a bolt-on part and is uninteresting... that's why Stacey left Spike.

not to bad I liked the fact that they mentioned a twinned durasmack and then went to the diesel national scene and it was all kick *** dodges I bet durasmack guys loved that. wish it was longer was hoping for more to get me ampped up for IRP but it will do.
