Tell me about 6.7 and auto, Please

Lost my 04. 5 in head on collision and need new dually, Drove a 6. 7 with 6 speed auto and was so smooth almost unbelievable. New Shell Rotella T meets the new guidelines for oil. Any suggestions or thoughts or warnings for me? Am going to have to order the truck. NO ONE has exactly what I want. Would be willing to wait for 2008 but can not get any info about options and such. Anyone know anything? Dealers sure as heck do not.

Glad you're ok superdave. Delo-400, Amsoil and a few others also meet the new CJ-4 oil spec.



I would start with one or more of the highly regarded dealerships listed in this forum. Dishman, Dave Smith etc... I don't think, but I've been wrong before, that there would be any significant changes between 07. 5 and an '08 model year. Shoop around to get yourself the best deal you can.

Orders were not to be accepted after the 18th(I think it was. ).
