I have been reading about people who use fueling boxes to increase power and other use different injectors to the same end. . Now I do see where the fueling boxes might void the warrenty, i. e. damaged wires on the vp44 but changing the injectors would be undectable to a dealer would it not thus making it harder to void the warrenty?? Also since I am new to diesels but do know a little about gas engine hopup,, the diesel is an air pump like the gas engine - just different fuel and ignition,, would one HAVE TO increase the exhaust size and intake size to take full advantage of different injectors? similar to the same type of hopups on a gas engine,, or would it simply be enough to change injectors to ones passing a bit more fuel??
I am looking at doing a mild bombing to my truck so at this point in time might be satisfied with simply changing the injectors for more power but still keeping the 7-7 warrenty intact... .
Yes, I am moving toward the "dark side"
