I am having problems doing searches on older threads. When I find one that I am looking for I can only read the first thread then it tells me non-members can only read the first one. But I am a member. This really wouldn't be a problem but I can never remember my password. Then after 5 wrong ones I get booted for 15 min. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong? Thanks. -Jason

sorry Steve. I read that before I posted the question. I stay logged on when I am on the new thread part. It is only when I do a search. then inside a thread on the search I find a link to another thread. That is the tread I cannot pull up. Can you or Robin tell me what my password is if I email something to you? -Jason

Ah, look at the address and you'll see they are getting to the site via a different address. Say for instance you are logging in at https://www.turbodieselregister.com and their link is at http://www.tdr1.com - you won't be logged in at the tdr1.com address. If you just go into your address bar and change the start of the address to where you are logged in you'll be fine. Alternatively you can log in at the other addresses as well (may need to add those to your trusted sites list, etc too).

Well, I'm glad I wasn't the only one that this happened to. I thought I was going crazy. Kept saying "I know I was logged in!"

Thanks

Jeff
