2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission temp guage on a 6 speed

Is it worth while to put a trans temp guage on a 6 speed or would it be over kill?

Russ, it might be but I'm in the middle of putting one on the trans and diff just to keep track of them. I might get luckly and it will tell me of a problem that is coming up before a total breakdown in the middle of now where. Eric
