 Need to know where to hook up gray wire for X-monitor gauge on my 95 47RH

trans? Is it to go to the factory sender that inline on the metal line on driver side of trans. I also have a ddt trans line/temp port that's not installed yet. Where do I get a sender for this line ? Other question is factory sender is two wire connector and x-monitor is only one. Can anyone help out? Thanks

Best way is to remove the factory sender and replace it with the one that came with your gauge. If one didn't come with your gauge ask BD for one. You will most likely need a bushing reducer as the factory port is 3/8" and most temp senders are 1/8".

Doing it this way you will also have to fool the computer that the stock sender is reading in the operating range or your truck won't go into OD. Way to do this is the unplug the harness from the factory sender and jump across the leads with a 1000 ohm resistor, 25¢ from Radio Shack.
