Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) temp probe location for NV5600

I am missing something obvious, or is it correct that NV5600's do NOT have a location for a temp probe in stock configuration. I know Fast Coolers have that option, but those are not in the budget right now.

That's where mine went into the fast cooler no place in stock location.

You can replace the fill plug with a pipe bushing and unhook the wires to check the oil, theres plenty of oil flow to get an accurate reading.

Another option is to braze a fitting into one of the PTO covers.
