temperature guage

My temperature guage started showing a lower reading (180) than it has shown since I have owned it (98,000 miles). Does this mean my sending unit may be going bad? Anyone else experience this. Am guessing that this is probably another thing that characteristically goes bad on these Dodges.

180 sounds right to me mine cycles to 190 down to 140 then after 45-hour levels out at 180. I would assume the 92 is about the same but no numbers on it but based on range I would say it was 180 also.

Maybe you burped some air out of the sytem that was causing it to run slightly hotter.
