I think that maybe the beloved leaders of the tdr might have a hand in the pot of ATS. They sure have jumped on the side of them.

I think the TDR administrators did the right thing. That thread could have gotten ugly. IMO they are doing a good job of keeping threads from getting out of control.

Heck I got so tired of reading transmission threads I did not even read the thing. Finally a thread that is controversial and I am not involved.

On the other hand if it got good enough to get yanked I must have missed something.

It came down to a lot of personal attacks over miscommunications.



Can't imagine that on the TDR, right.



Most of the problems between me and someone else were dealt with properly through PM's.



But the attacks were left standing for the 'public' to view. It's funny how public actions are often so different than private ones.



I too am curious about the need for lawyers. But my guess is that when company A 'knowingly' lies about company 'B' in print to over 10,000 of company 'b's potential customers, that would be justifiable. Personally, I would rather see it handled through a fight. One fighting for what's right, one fighting for sales. Bets allowed. But that's just me.

the moderators did the right thing--you get to many guys saying things they shouldn't about other members and vendors when they don't have the full story----I wouldn't be surprised if this turns out to be the norm---well said strick 9... ..... chris

azgearpro, I don't see the point in alluding(referring)to the moderators as being "book burners" or censors. A remark like that can be construed as insulting and demeaning. They are paid to do a job, this is a privately owned forum.
