I fuel the truck near the job and drove two blocks. Left the job and drove 3 blocks then realized I had little power. Floored it and got to 25 MPH. :{ I was deciding if I should go home or to my mechanic. I figured I would pull over and turn off truck then restart. No particular reason why but it worked. I turned it off and started it within 2-3 seconds and it ran fine all the way home.

Not getting a good feeling like this is fixed. The truck has 140,000 on it and had warranty lift pump installed in the tank at about 40-50,000. I have a electric fuel pressure gauge but it died 10-15K miles ago. I have a new one in the cab I didn't put in yet. Westec gauge worked OK for 70,000+ - it just needed a tap once in a while.

So any idea are appreciated thank you!

Looks like the lift pump is running low pressure at 8 lb. Then when you floor it for a few seconds it drops to two lb. Hope it didn't hurt the injection pump.

Get that POS in-tank LP out and an after-market one on and get a fuel gauge that works in the cab before your VP is toast . . . Just my humble recommendations . . .

This could also be the stutter that starts to happen before the APPS quits. I would get the gauge fixed/replaced immediately. Then depending on the pressure determines when you replace that LP.
I had the original LP and then put it on the frame rail with the big line kit; I installed the fuel pressure gauge at the same time. Then replaced that pump with a campaign LP, after about 3-4 months. Then got a nice bonus/tax return and bit the bullet and bought the Air Dog 100 about a year later. No problems since. Consistently 15-16. 5 #'s even at WOT.
Fix the gauge, replace the pump (or not your choice), check for any codes as well.
If the APPS indeed is going out then I would spend that $$ on getting a new one from Timbrens, a member on this site. Good luck and let us know.
Hope this helps.
