Camper frame tie down for sale

5ht wheel heat loss??

My 34'GN is prewired with a 50amp box, connections to generator compartment, roof AC unit, 4 power points, and 4 angle mounted florescent light fixtures.

All would be fine if I installed a normal service outlet, and when I get my permanent parking spot finished, I'll do just that. In the mean time, is there an easy way I can use a heavy duty extension cord that would allow me to use the trailer lighting and possibly the plugs??

I've though about just making up a double male ended extension cord and pluging into a wall socket, that that seems a bit crude and I would need to be sure not to have any energized exposed ends.

Anybody got a safe and practical solution??

Looks good...

Check out my webpage at http://www.klenger.net/arctic-fox/generator-installation/index.html and scroll down to the part about Generator 115 vac Connection to the Camper.

It shows how I connected my shore power connector to either the generator or shore power. DO NOT used a double male plug cable as it is hazardous, and not necessary. If you have any further questions about my setup, let me know.

I like your setup. I can do the same thing if I make up a 15amp to 50 amp extension cord. That way I can go through my power panel like you have done.

Is it fairly simple to figure out how to wire a 50 amp female end to a heavy duty 15 amp extension cord??? Everything should be 110V so hopefully I can't get into too much trouble!

Thanks for the link to your info. Nice generator, by the way!
