Have you guys seen the Article in Mopar Muscle Magazine, July and August Issues called Terminal Torque.

Jannetty Racing Did a step by step build up on an 04. 5 Cummins 600 auto 4x4 with the goal of emissions freindly, Max power and Reliability without smoke and after 72 dyno pulls achived it, 445 rwhp and 892 rwtq and zero smoke with cat in place.

Special thanks go out to BD Diesel Performance, ATS Diesel Performance, and EDGE Products for help with this project.

Check it out and give us some feedback.

Ted-

Picked up the magazines after I saw this post a couple of days ago. Heck of a lot better than Diesel Power mag has ever been! Some questions:

1) Are you going to do another article showing an even bigger turbo upgrade from the Super B? It sure got awfully hot!

2) Did you have to install a pusher pump?

3) Page 108 of the second article - what is that shaft? Looks like the splines are kind of twisted!

4) Drive pressures on the turbo since you have that second EGT port?

5) How about stacking a pressure box with the Edge Juice and injectors (after the turbo upgrade of course!)?

:D Oo.

Guys, Please don't miss the GOAL of the article, MAX Power Without Smoke.

Now we have the truck back in our hands to test some more aggressive power upgrades.

This past week tested the JRE Methonal injection system on the truck as it is in the article, it made 494 hp 989 lb torque, 200 degree drop in EGT 25 degree drop in air inlet temps.

We also we tested the HOT juice with attitude, by itself to the tune of 474. 6 hp 929 lb. torque.

With the hot juice and the meth 498 hp 997.

I believe the CAT is limiting the power to 500, we will test that theory this coming week.

I also have a list of other goodies I will be testing on this combo, I know there is more left in it based on the data collected.

We May but I think this turbo has a lot of potential, cooling the EGT will be easy.

The shaft on page 108 is a baring tool for turning over the engine while removing the torque converter bolts.

We weren't concerned about drive pressures based on the DATA the BD provided for the Super B.

Increasing pressure can cause a lot of reliability problems, and there are limitations to the flow of the factory HPCR system, this truck has JRE injectors.
