Archived terrible vibration!!!

Someone help me please!

I have an '04 2500 LWB crew.

There is a severe vibration of the whole truck all the time.

It is much worse at lower speeds, maybe in the 35 mph and below range, and it increases when i let off the throttle. When i let out the clutch to get moving, the truck shakes, and the vibration when i let off the throttle feels about the same. Anybody? Bueller? Bueller?

Sounds about how my truck acted when two of the u-joints seized. It seems that anytime after about 50,000 miles you can expect to change every u-joint on the truck, I know I have done all of mine. I used Precision greaseables.

Check the rear most u joint. Mine went out at 50k.

Definitely sounds like universal joints, just replaced all of mine at 49,500 miles

under warranty $ 100. 00 Deductable at dealer.



Mine had a nasty shudder on launch and coming to a stop plus the constant vibration above 30 MPH.



If it would have been on my $$$ I would have gotten greasable replacement units.
